Our Cultural Capital is the essential knowledge that you need to prepare you for your future access. 

A person's Cultural Capital has now become a huge focus in the education world, and, at Cove, we give our students an environment that allows them to realise the Cultural Capital they already have within them as well as making them aware that it grows. 

Through our focus on Care, Character and Academic Excellence, we drive our students to be ready for the wider world and whatever path they decide to take.

 

SMSC

Care, Character and Academic Excellence are what underpin our life at Cove School.  We wish to enable students to develop their self-knowledge, self-esteem and self-confidence, as well as distinguish right from wrong and to respect the law. 

Through our systems we encourage students to accept responsibility for their behaviour, show initiative and understand how they can contribute to community life.  Providing a broad general knowledge of public institutions and services in England will help to assist students in acquiring and appreciation of, and respect for, their own and other cultures in a way that promotes tolerance and harmony between different cultural traditions.
