As a school, we are proud to be part of the i2i Teaching Partnership: an alliance of successful secondary schools across Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and West London delivering an innovative, inspiring and highly supportive school centred initial teacher training programme (SCITT) for aspiring secondary school teachers. In 2023, i2i became the accredited training provider for the Basingstoke Alliance SCITT.

The i2i one-year specialist secondary teacher training programme leads to QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate of Education). It is led and delivered by expert practitioners, and equips trainees with the skills and knowledge to become the best teachers they can possibly be. In a recent Ofsted inspection, i2i was graded ‘Outstanding’ in all areas.

With training centres in Farnham, Reigate, Shepperton, Basingstoke and Southampton, and partner placement schools across the region, i2i is well placed to offer accessible local teacher training opportunities to our community. i2i is proud to play a part in developing exceptional teachers and leaders of the future, and in improving the life chances of our young children.
