Throughout this one-year DFE accredited programme you will develop an understanding of both the theory and practice of teaching RE using a range of learning and teaching approaches.

  • Learn to teach the locally agreed syllabus KS3 > A Level
  • Cover essential areas of behaviour management, SEN and EAL
  • Gain experience in lesson planning, structured learning, assessment and evaluating your professional practice
  • Option to gain a masters credit

The programme works closely with Theology, Religion and Philosophy departments at the university.  There is also an opportunity to achieve SAPERE Level 1 Philosophy for children foundation accreditation.
