NPL Water Rocket Challenge

Once again our Science club team (Cove Moon Rangers) joined hundreds of participants from other schools across the country to battle it out for National Water Rocket challenge at Teddington on Wednesday 17 June 2015.

The team of rocketeers comprised of Alexander Windeatt, Michael Whyman, Stuart Black, Ellie Williams, Connor Hayward and James Norman.

The challenge for the competition was to launch a rocket powered by water/air pressure and land it in a designated zone whilst trying to earn additional points by time of flight.

Unfortunately, the Cove Moon Rangers who were the 2014 national champions bowed down, coming fourth out of 29 teams.

Congratulations to Cove Moon Rangers for their good team effort. Hopefully next year we will reclaim the title.
