Sport Relief
At the end of last term on Sport Relief Day many of our students from years 7 to 10 took part in the Sport Relief mile run. The event raised both awareness and money for this charity, which helps vulnerable people in the UK and the world's poorest countries. At the heart of the campaign is the "Sport Relief Mile", which involves participants doing their bit for charity. Well done to all students and teachers who took part in this event.
A special mention must go to all of our year 8 girls who performed a Sport Relief Flash Mob dance in the school hall. This event was kept secret from other students and so there were many surprised faces amongst the students. Well done to all of the girls - it was a delight to watch.
